Sucupira is imported hardwood from throughout the West Indies, southern Mexico, central and south America, and Brazil. Sucupira has a chocolate-brown, red-brown or light brown color and its heartwood is yellowish brown to dark reddish-brown. It has a big similarity to the Cumura (teak).
